Even if you have visited the Peloponnese before, there is always a different way to look at it and so much more to discover. Dive into the secrets of olive harvesting, olive oil making, live like a local, taste, enjoy, feel the deepest roots of Greece.
Itinerary
Day 1 – Athens, Arrival Day, Transfer to Nafplio
Overnight in Nafplio, Dinner & live traditional music
Day 2 – Half-day olive harvest & lunch, Free evening
4 hours of picking olives in a farm near Argos, including breaks and a picnic lunch in nature. Free evening and Overnight in Nafplio.
Day 3 – A Full day in an Olive Farm, Overnight in a family country house
Full day in the olive orchard, working like a local worker. Olive oil making and tasting hot
olive oil. Farmer Dimitri’s wife, Mrs Athanasia will cook your reward; a fireside delicious homemade dinner.
Day 4 – A full day in an Olive Farm, Overnight in a family country house + BBQ party
Same as previous day and overnight in farm with barbecue party at night with fire, wine and
clarinet. Tasting local delicacies.
Day 5 – The impressive ancient Messene walls, The famous Kalamata olive oil
Visiting impressive ancient sites, and olive oil tasting from an olive expert in a Kalamata olive mill
Day 6 – Kalamata city tour
Shopping in old town of Kalamata, coffee break. Visiting a local farm outside town & dining an organic meal
Day 7 – Dimitsana- Stemnitsa traditional villages
Splendid monasteries, local treats and amazing beauty around! Pasta workshop in a local traditional pasta factory in the countryside
Day 8 – Karitaina Waterfalls & picnic
Visiting a hidden paradise on Earth, relaxing in the beautiful countryside
Day 9 -Dimitsana open-air water-power museum
The only one of its kind in Greece, it displays the technology of the pre-industrial period that
exploited the driving force of water
Day 10 – Thermal spa, Lake of Vouliagmeni & Temple of Hera
Thermal spa day! Overnight in Loutraki, visiting the famous casino!
Day 11 – Acrokorinth at the steps of Apostle Paul, Wine tasting by a local experienced enologist
Visit the impressive castle of Ancient Corinth and enjoy an evening with wine tasting.
Day 12 – Return to Athens, Fly back home
