Cooking class-“Learn to cook Greek”

Cooking lessons specializing in the Greek cuisine, where you will have the opportunity to put your hands in the dough and participate more in the preparation of each Greek menu. You will learn the benefits of the healthy Greek diet and the variety of ingredients and herbs of the region of Thessaloniki. You and your local chef first you will go to the Markets to buy some of your ingredients and then you go back to workshop-restaurant.
A sample of a menu inspired from the cuisine of North Greece is;


“Perek pie”  traditional pie, from the Pontians, with fresh s herbs and feta accompanied with Greek yogurt.

“Soutzoukakia Smirneika” long meatballs (beef)  with spices in tomato sauce , a recipe coming from the Greek immigrants from Smyrna accompanied with eggplant puree
 or
 “Gemista” stuffed tomatoes and peppers with minced meat rice, raisins , pine nuts and aromatic herbs.

“Choriatiki” salad , tomato , cucumber, capers, olives, fresh oregano, feta cheese and extra virgin olive oil
 or
 green lettuce, rocket salad, salad with yellow goat’s cheese and petimezi sauce.

“Chalvas Politikos” a traditional dessert coming from Istanbul! and again the Greek immigrants , semolina cooked with milk , butter, sugar and toasted almonds served with ice cream “Kaimaki” 
 or
“Galaktoboureko” pastry rolls filled with cream baked and then served with hot lemony sirop.
Also a variety of olives from the region will be served as well as extra virgin olive oil to taste as pre starters.
