It’s afternoon, and the heat finally begins to ease. In summer (June–August), a pleasant sea breeze sets in as the town slowly awakens after the siesta. You cycle effortlessly through Nafplio’s old town, with its red-roofed houses, narrow streets, squares, boulevards, and historic monuments. The route then continues around the rock of Acronafplia, following the seaside. It’s almost time for sunset…
