Our trip begins with a scenic drive through Arcadia’s countryside. Fir & chestnut
forests, hidden chapels, surrounded by imposing mountains. We will travel through
those beautiful landscapes that will set the tone for the day ahead and have to be seen
rather than described…but wait till you reach the village!
Exploring the chestnut village
Upon arrival, we will enter a place of true beauty and timeless charm. We will have the
opportunity to walk in the small streets of the village, see the church on the top and
marvel at its stone-built, traditional houses. Our guided exploration will also include a
visit to the small local museum, where we will gain insight into the culture of this
village, the way of life of its past inhabitants, as well as the pivotal role that a village that
small played in the Greek War of Independence.
An Authentic Greek taste
After our little endeavor, we will head for a delicious meal at the traditional tavern of
the village. We will indulge in amazing, fresh dishes such as tasty Greek pies, grilled
meats, and vibrant salads, all prepared with local ingredients. You will remember this
meal in combination with this view for a while!

But we are just in the middle of the trip! After we leave the village, we will visit a local
winery, where tradition and craftsmanship come together to produce the already
